Professional Biography – Short Version
Rebecca Seeman is a conductor, music educator, and nonprofit leader. She is a faculty member in the Performing Arts and Social Justice Department at the University of San Francisco and serves as Artistic Director of Sacred and Profane Chamber Chorus in Berkeley. She holds degrees in Vocal Performance and Conducting from UCSC and a DMA in Choral Conducting from the University of Iowa. She is completing USF’s Masters of Nonprofit Administration program with a focus in ADEI in the Performing Arts. She is committed to the intersection between social justice and the performing arts and to socially relevant and artistically compelling performance.
