Professional Biography – Short Version
Rebecca Seeman is a conductor, music educator, and nonprofit leader. She is a faculty member in the Performing Arts and Social Justice Department at the University of San Francisco and serves as Artistic Director of Sacred and Profane Chamber Chorus in Berkeley. She holds degrees in Voice and Conducting from UCSC and a DMA in Choral Conducting from the University of Iowa. She is completing USF’s MNA program with a focus in ADEI in the Performing Arts. Her areas of competence include diversity awareness, program planning, and nonprofit management, and she is interested in the higher education, music leadership, arts administration, foundation, and consulting sectors.
